We have been fairly busy the past few weeks....
We just recorded our cover of Locust Star by Neurosis with our buddy Mark McGinn and it sounds pretty fucking evil. We played Nashville last night with our friends/labelmates Adaje and Close To Me pictures and videos up soon.

Here is a video from part of our set at PS Warehouse on the 29th of May.

Get a copy of Adaje's Drone Empire if you are a fan of music in general.
Two fucking awesome bands.

Lyrics

Since I am super behind on this, here are the lyrics from our demo.

Burn The Papers

Why does it feel like I am the only one
Who feels the pain and the damage done
Why are we repeating simple mistakes
Of the ones who have long since passed away

History is repeating itself each day
History is repeating itself each day

Ignorance builds moral decay
Our children will be burning soon enough
And who can our loved ones trust?

Can we not open our eyes to the agendas pushed our way
Education corruption and political slaves

Does not matter as long as you get paid
You’re a power hungry whore dying to get laid

Think of others lives think of crimes committed in front of our eyes
Think of crimes committed in front of our eyes

The media's said enough
Burn the papers it's all gone corrupt

Into Myself

I want to close my eyes and forget everything around me
No matter how I try to block it out, I still hear the shouting
“Which way is life taking me each day?” I ask but to no surprise, I hear nothing back
I look to the skies for piece of mind and I remember the times I cried

Stop telling me I am doing this in vain
I feel all of you feeding off my pain
I never understood the tears I cried, I never understood why
Why it was always this way with an ignorant father and mother's broken dreams Innocence lost never taken back and I still yearn for a light
The one thing that has made me want to keep life
With all the grief I have felt, it has slowly made me into myself
(Grief)

Aspirations (...Reprise)

Made of false pride and blood I do not wish to have in my veins
But the aspirations that I hold onto will never change
Made of false pride and blood, made of false pride and blood
From a coward grandfather who lied to his family
To a grandmother with memories that she could not bury
To a family that will not accept common, we are stuck at the bottom
To a father looking for happiness in a bottle,
To a mother with insecurities that always follow
I am the product of dysfunction and unhappiness
Manifested

This will not break my spirit or what I feel, I’ve just accepted reality and what is real
And I push on through this, past negativity and years of strife
I am separate from that of my mother and father
And if you can hear me I wish I could have helped you my brother
I have learned that our father's mistakes will never be repeated

Made of false pride and blood I do not wish to have in my veins
But the aspirations I hold onto will never change
Made of false pride and blood, made of false pride and blood

We are in control of our broken souls
Broken souls

Our next show is May 29th at the Cat Cave with almost every Atlanta hardcore band it's going to be smelly, sweaty, sticky and awesome. We are working out details for a possible tour in July with our friends from Cincinnati Sleeptalkers!

We are on Birdseye Recordings based out of Memphis, Tn an awesome label ran by awesome people and they are putting out our demo on cassette soon, as well as an upcoming 7'' split with friends/label mates Close To Me.
